The Wellington Dukes have 12 players moving on to the NCAA next year. 16 year olds Curtis Leonard and Brandon McIntosh will attend Belleville and Niagara OHL Camps respectfully. Former Wellington Duke goaltender Edward Pasquale was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 4th round of the NHL Entry Draft held in Montreal, Quebec earlier today. Pasquale played for the Dukes in the 2006-07 season before signing on with the OHL Belleville Bulls just prior to Christmas that season.

The Wellington Dukes are preparing for the 2009-10 season. Training Camp starts August 8 2009 at the Wellington Arena, aka The DukeDome.
