LUC BROWN NAMED ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AT NCAA UNION

Former Wellington Duke Luc Brown has been named the Rookie-of-the-Year for NCAA Division I Union College Dutchmen.  The team's leading rookie scorer, Luc tallied 6 goals and added 9 assists for a total of 15 points.  He tied a career high with two points (1G 1A) in the Mayor's Cup assisting on the game-winning goal.  He also had the game-winning points at Clarkson and against Princeton in game one of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals.  He ranked tied for seventh among ECAC Hockey rookies in games played (37).

 

The Napanee, Ontario native played four seasons for the Dukes (2012-16) winning OJHL Most Valuable Player and Most Improved Player as well as leading the league in scoring in his final year.
