The Wellington Dukes are pleased to announce their captain, Sean Rudy, has accepted a Division 1 NCAA scholarship to attend Bemidji State University in Minnesota, USA.  The 20 year old forward from Long Sault, Ontario is completing his second season with the Dukes and led the team during the regular season in points (73), assists (51) and powerplay assists (19).  He was named Dukes Player of the Month for January and was also selected to the OJHL First All Star Team.

 

Rudy is the fourth member of the current Dukes roster heading off to NCAA Division 1 schools this fall joining Curtis Leonard (RPI), Joe Zarbo (Clarkson University) and Jordan Ruby (RIT).
