Former Wellington Dukes forward Shaw Boomhower assisted on a third period insurance goal as his Mississauga Steelheads defeated the Oshawa Generals by a score of 7 to 3 in OHL playoff action.  The best-of-seven series is now tied at one game each.  He was ranked as the 3rd Best Body Checker in the Eastern Conference by the OHL Coaches Poll and has been ranked at #112 in the NHL Final-Term Draft.

The Belleville, Ontario native played his rookie season with the Dukes this past year as a 17 year old out of the Quinte Red Devils AAA program.  He played most of this past season on an all-rookie line where his physical play also included 23 points in 51 regular season games while adding 3 more points in 9 OJHL playoff games.
