The Wellington Dukes finished off a perfect weekend with home victories over the North York Rangers and Aurora Tigers to improve to a Northeast Conference-best 7-1-0-3 with 17 points.

Creed Jones posted his first OJHL shutout, stopping all 38 North York Rangers shots in a 4-0 victory.
Following a scoreless first period, Zach Uens' notched his first OJHL goal, which turned out to be the game-winner, just under six minutes into the second. Colin Doyle, Teddy McGeen (shorthanded) and Alec Tiley added other goals to insulate the 16-year old's winner and the team's second straight shutout victory.
Mitchell Martan recorded two assists and McGeen, Declan Carlile, Andrew Rinaldi and Graeme McCrory added single helpers.
Final shots favoured North York 38-33.

There was no shutout to be had on Sunday afternoon, as the Dukes had to battle back against the Aurora Tigers.
Two more first OJHL goals, coming from Daniel Panetta and Graeme McCrory, helped Wellington erase a three-goal deficit in a 6-5 win.
Zach Uens added his second goal in as many games and Mitchell Martan, Colin Doyle and Andrew Rinaldi (game-winner) also scored.
Doyle added three assists for a four-point game, Rinaldi picked up a pair of helpers, Teddy McGeen and Keegan Ferguson also assisted twice and Declan Carlile, Jeffrey Burridge and Dawson Ellis chipped in with single helpers.
Jonah Capriotti earned his fourth win in as many starts with Wellington, stopping 25 of 31 shots.
The Dukes start another stretch where they'll play three games in three-and-a-half days, starting with a Thursday visit to the Limestone City to face the Kingston Voyageurs. The Dukes are home to Stouffville Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and Markham Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
