TAYLOR SETS UP GWG FOR KALAMAZOO IN PLAYOFFS

Former Wellington Duke forward Justin Taylor assisted on the game-winning goal as his Kalamazoo Wings defeated the Toledo Walleye by a score of 4 to 3 in ECHL playoff action.  The best-of-seven series is now tied at three games each with game 7 to be played in Toledo on Tuesday.  The Wings are a farm club of the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning.  He had a career high 32 goals in the regular season.  He is also the team's all-time leading ECHL goal scorer.

 

The Mindemoya, Ontario native played for the Dukes from 2005 to 2007 where he had 83 points in 85 games before signing with the London Knights of the OHL.
