The Wellington Dukes of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) are pleased to announce Erick Delaurentis as their October Player of the Month. The Dukes won/loss record for the month was 7 and 2 matching their September record and the Markham, Ontario native has played a large role in the team success. In 9 games he had 8 goals plus 9 assists for 17 points, picking up at least a point in all but one game.
Last season he was named to the Central Canada Cup Challenge OJHL East Division roster and was named Best Forward at this years Chowder Cup Tournament. One of just three players to be entering their third season with the Dukes the 19 year old forward was named OJHL East Division 2nd Star for the week ending October 20, 2013. He still has another year of junior hockey eligibility and has NCAA aspirations.
